Iva Glisic completed undergraduate studies at the University of Belgrade’s Faculty of Philosophy, majoring in History of Art. As an undergraduate, she also undertook a course of study at the University of Vermont. In 2009 she moved to Perth to pursue PhD studies in Russian and Soviet history at the University of Western Australia (UWA). Since completing her PhD, she teaches courses in European Studies, History and History of Art at UWA. Her research topics include Russian and Soviet history, Twentieth Century European intellectual and cultural history, contemporary Russian art and Soviet cultural legacies.
