Richard Paul Hamilton teaches Philosophy and Ethics at the University of Notre Dame Australia. He came to Australia, seven years ago after completing a PhD at the University of London. His PhD topic was love and he has recently contributed to a collection on Philosophy and Dating. He works in the area of moral philosophy with particular interests in what the biological and social sciences can contribute to our understanding of ethics. He has published widely in ethics, philosophy of the social sciences, philosophy of law, philosophy of biology and philosophy of medicine.
