Fatima was raised in the port city of Basra in Iraq, in a family of 7. Her parents loved eating together and taught their children the importance of family, hospitality and good company. Fatima has passed on these traditions and her passion for good authentic Arabic food to her own children. She is very particular about using the freshest ingredients, prepared with love and care to get the best flavours possible. She has been collecting photographs of her dishes and is planning her own cookbook. On the day, she will be assisted by her daughter Hiba. Fatima and Hiba both look forward to being your hosts and teachers of Iraqi food, hospitality and culture.
