Chris Sheedy
Resume
From his 13-year role as an international adjudicator for Guinness World Records to his 20-year career as a journalist in the entertainment, sports and business fields to his authoring of several books, Chris Sheedy has come to know a thing or two about high achievers.
Chris has stood on the landing ramp as motorcycle superstar Robbie Maddison landed the world’s longest motorcycle jump. He has been driven around the night-time streets of London on the world’s fastest furniture. He has watched a blindfolded teachers' assistant from rural NSW catch arrows out of the air. He has interviewed such celebrities as Tom Cruise, Pamela Anderson, Jessica Simpson, Slash, Steve Irwin, Kevin Costner and Hugh Jackman and sports stars such as Mark Campese, Mark Skaife, Craig Lowndes, Jeff Fenech, Kostya Tszyu and Shane Gould. Chris has been a regular on five television series, has become a close confidante of several of the world’s most respected entrepreneurs and has written books on the stories behind great iconic products and classic works of literature.
Chris has taken this wealth of experience and boiled it down to discover what it takes to move from ordinary to extraordinary and, perhaps more importantly, what success actually means on a personal level. And he has plenty of fascinating anecdotes to share along the way.
