2020 @ UWA Extension

UWA Extension continues to offer a program of stimulating public talks and short courses across diverse subject areas including popular short courses in the arts, writing, languages, health, philosphy, photography and many more.

January to April 2020 events are filling, including:

  • Back by Popular Demand - Spanish for Beginners: “Gabby Dolfi's Spanish course was excellent and her lesson delivery was always so productive. This made my beginners extension course a very rewarding experience!” Cheryl Penson 2019.
  • Philosophy Feast Series- exclusive to UWA Extension, involves thinking about some of the big questions we ask during our lifetime over a tasting platter and a glass of wine. Chaired by Dr Nin Kirkham, UWA Chair of Philosophy.
  • Photography: One of the world’s most popular pastimes and yet many people who own a camera, don’t understand how to use and maximise the creative controls! There are very few courses available that teach you both skills and creativity. Learn how to capture images with a wow factor!
  • Grammar Therapy- Language helps us think, communicate, and maintain our social relationships, but grammar holds it all together! Grammar Therapy is an enjoyable introduction to English grammar for those who never learned grammar in school or need a refresher.
  • Gift Vouchers- give the gift of learning. There’s no need to stress about trying to find the oh-so perfect gift!

New courses and public talks are being added continuously.
