IDRAWING CLASSES
As an artist over the past 20 years, stylistically, Alejandro Tearney has always explored new ways of creating and visualising work. His passion for art encompasses painting, drawing, printmaking and computer generated art. He found his passion for computer-generated art while working with digital medium in 1993 on a project to change 3D images and 2D patterns into stereograms for screen savers.
Today, Alejandro paints on a digital canvas creating rich and complex images by manipulating and layering traditional media with digital forms and thanks to the internet he is able to build websites to autonomously publish his images. This has also allowed him to engage in long distance digital collaboration and artistic exchange with other US artists.
Alejandro has a Masters in Fine Art (Printmaking) from the San Francisco Art Institute. He also holds a Bachelors degree in Fine Art and Art History, one year of which was completed in Florence, Italy as a part of the California State University International Program.
