Looking for some intellectual stimulation without committing to a credit course? Or do you need a supplementary unit to compliment your existing degree or credit course?
Then ACCESS UWA is for you. No previous academic results are necessary for you to enrol in a single unit (or up to four units) and you can choose whether or not to participate in formal assessment.
Continuing Education – with assessment
This program is for students who wish to attend lectures, tutorials, seminars, and laboratory sessions and undertake assessment throughout the semester. Your enrollment will be registered in the UWA student records system, issued with a UWA Campus Card and includes access to all UWA Library resources.
Audit – with no assessment
This program is for students wishing to attend lectures without participating in tutorials, fulfilling any practical requirements, undertaking assignments or examinations.
Audit students are eligible to apply to register for Community Membership at the UWA Library. This membership has limited access to library resources and regrettably, access to Course Materials Online (CMO) is not available.
Study in LOTE (Language Other Than English) units is not available to the Audit program as participation in all grammar classes and tutorials is essential to complete the course of study.
Fees and charges are available at: extension.uwa.edu.au/accessfees
On completion, you may apply to the Faculty or School to have the unit(s) transferred to your degree or credit course.
