This program examines the role and responsibilities of managers tasked with daily operational management of people and the leadership of teams. It focuses on the nature of management and leadership within organisations with specific focus on coaching, delegation and mentoring employees. The program also examines the management of people and process within an organisation with attention given to culture mapping and role-play.
The program is designed for those new to a management role, those managing teams, and experienced managers or supervisors with little or no formal training who would like to enhance or update their skills. Learning takes place via small group activities and discussions, lecture and individual self-analysis.
