You will learn ways to help you assess whether your book is ready to be sent out to publishers. You will hear how to write your CV, how to decide which agents and publishers are right for your book and how to approach them, synopsis and covering letter writing, what rejection means and how to deal with it, other avenues to publication such as competitions and awards, and what to do if you receive an offer for your book.

This course is best suited to people who are in the process of writing or who have finished writing, a book length work of fiction (including a short story collection) or creative non-fiction, such as a memoir. Or for those who would like to know what’s ahead before they finish their manuscript.
